Framework
AI Fluency
Digital fluency is more than knowing how to use AI tools. It is knowing how to apply AI effectively to different kinds of thinking and work. Drawing on Gregor Jeffrey's four cognitive modes, this series develops complementary capabilities in productivity, critical thinking, collaboration, and innovation. Each interactive workshop offers practical applications employees can use immediately. The four can be delivered individually or as a coordinated series, and no previous AI experience is needed.
Elevating Performance with AI
The way we think influences how we organize work, solve problems, and get things done. Some tasks suit our cognitive strengths, while others take more effort. This workshop explores how AI can help bridge those gaps, reduce unnecessary mental load, and improve personal productivity. You'll learn to identify where your work slows down, recognize opportunities for AI support, and redesign everyday tasks and workflows. You'll leave with an AI-supported approach to improving your performance while maintaining ownership and accountability for the results.
Learning outcomes
- Recognize how your thinking preferences shape the way you organize work
- Identify the tasks where your work slows down
- Use AI to reduce the effort of tasks outside your strengths
- Redesign everyday tasks and workflows with AI support
- Keep ownership and accountability for AI-supported results
Critical Thinking with AI
AI can generate convincing answers in seconds, but knowing what to trust takes more than a good prompt. This workshop shows how to use AI to strengthen your analytical thinking: examining evidence and testing assumptions. You'll learn to question AI rather than accept its first response, including asking it to state its assumptions, identify supporting evidence that you can verify, and open its recommendations to scrutiny. You'll leave with an approach that leads to more defensible conclusions.
Learning outcomes
- Question AI's first response instead of accepting it
- Ask AI to state its assumptions and show evidence you can verify
- Test AI recommendations before acting on them
- Reach conclusions you can defend
- Use AI to strengthen your analytical thinking rather than replace it
Collaborating with AI
Effective collaboration depends on understanding perspectives beyond our own, and AI creates new ways to do that. This workshop shows how to use AI as a thinking partner to strengthen communication, see a situation from someone else's point of view, and prepare for difficult conversations. You'll leave with practical techniques for using AI to prepare for conversations, communicate more effectively, and navigate different perspectives with greater confidence.
Learning outcomes
- Use AI as a thinking partner to see a situation from another point of view
- Prepare for difficult conversations with AI
- Plan what you want to say before an important conversation
- Approach different perspectives with greater confidence
- Strengthen communication with colleagues who think differently
Innovating with AI
AI can produce a long list of ideas almost instantly. Turning one into something original and useful is a different skill. This workshop shows how to use AI to expand your conceptual thinking and move past familiar approaches. You'll learn techniques for reframing a problem, exploring unconventional options, and connecting ideas across contexts. You'll leave able to bring original, practical ideas to the challenges your teams face, from project delivery to stakeholder engagement to operational improvement.
Learning outcomes
- Use AI to reframe a problem from new angles
- Explore options beyond the first ideas AI produces
- Connect ideas across contexts
- Turn AI-generated possibilities into original, practical ideas
- Expand your conceptual thinking beyond familiar approaches
